As generative AI becomes a regular part of students’ learning experiences, education institutions face the challenge of helping students understand how to use these tools appropriately while maintaining academic integrity.

This presentation shares the development of a centralised AI Hub within the Academic Success Team (AST) Moodle page that was created to provide students with clear, practical, and accessible guidance on AI use. The Hub brings together institutional guidance, learning resources, and self-paced modules covering topics such as disclosure requirements, appropriate use of AI in assessment, and expectations around authorship and originality. Rather than relying on policy documents alone, the project focuses on communicating academic integrity messages in ways that are visible, relevant, and embedded throughout the student journey.

A key aspect of the initiative has been integrating AI and academic integrity guidance across multiple student touchpoints, including orientation activities, in-class workshops, support services, and regular student communications. This approach helps reinforce consistent messages and reduces confusion about expectations for AI use. Early engagement suggests that students appreciate having a single place to access information and support. The presentation discusses lessons learned from the project and explores how education institutions can strengthen academic integrity culture through ongoing communication, accessible resources, and a coordinated approach to AI literacy.
